Meet Monja Swanepoel

Monja Swanepoel is the founder of Higher Low Trading, a trading education and mentorship brand built from more than 8 years of learning, studying, practising and trading the financial markets.

Throughout this journey, Monja has continuously developed and refined her understanding of price action, market structure, liquidity, risk management and trading psychology. Through years of experience, observation, testing and refinement, she formed the MON30 Framework and Trading Strategy — an approach developed from her own journey and understanding of the markets.

Her journey began with an interest in trading US30, which became the foundation for what would eventually grow into the MON30 concept. Over time, her focus expanded beyond simply finding trades to understanding why price moves, where liquidity is created and taken, how market structure changes, and how to identify higher-quality trading opportunities.

Monja created Higher Low Trading because she believes that traders should learn to understand the market for themselves. Rather than relying on signals, copy trading or simply being told when to enter and exit a trade, her goal is to teach traders how to read the market, understand risk, recognise quality setups and develop the confidence and discipline to make their own trading decisions.

Trading is about much more than finding an entry. It is about discipline, patience, risk management, consistency and continuous learning. After more than 8 years in the markets, Monja understands that becoming a better trader is a continuous journey. There are wins, losses, mistakes, lessons and constant opportunities to improve.

Higher Low Trading is a reflection of that journey — created to share practical knowledge, structured education and real trading experience with people who want to learn, grow and become more independent in the financial markets. Her teaching runs from Forex Foundations for complete beginners through to MON30 Synthetic and the MON30 Elite framework, always in plain language, and always with quality over quantity: one day, one session, one trade.
